I own a BDP-1 and use Roon to manage playback. From time to time the BDP-1 just stops playing and can no longer be found as a Roon device. I noticed on some occassions it has the display, remote and/ or keys  responding slowly or not at all in the moments before it stops playing. Rebooting solves the issue. But sometimes it works for hours again, sometimes I have to reboot after a few songs. When I perform 2 consecutive reboots it tends to work for multiple hours.  I have no errors in the display, I run latest BDP-1 and Roon software versions.
Any solutions out there for this behaviour?

I’m getting something  very similar except Roon works for about 20 seconds then stops.  Device is seen at my.bryston.com but otherwise unresponsive to browser so impossible to put in service mode or to select mpd  as output instead. No error messages.

What firmware are either of you using on your BDP's?  Are they both BDP-1's?

My BDP-1 has been in pieces while investigating a possible hardware upgrade path so I've been slow to confirm the issue, but should be able to test if we can reproduce the problem this afternoon/evening.

I have the strong impression it happens more frequently while streaming from Tidal (no Qobuz available). When streaming fron NAS it tends to work longer. Just might help you to investigate ,... I can not play music for 8+ hours in a row,...
