It was my son's tenth birthday last weekend and as part of his presents we gave him an experience day at a Raptor Foundation near Cambridge in the UK, it was a total surprise to him. They gave us just the greatest day, one we will both remember for many years. He made particular friends with this lovely owl:

My heart skipped just for a moment when this one was trying to decide if he was food or not....

Cheers

What a truly unique idea and by the looks of your son, a sweet birthday memory that he will cherish for life.

top one is a UK Barn Owl, the second one is a Harris's Hawk which is a very popular hunting hawk, they are just beautiful.

If you want a big Owl, this guy nearly took Dan's head off with his wings as he came in:

 :D

Two Barn Owls sitting on a perch and one says to the other: "Can you smell fish?"

Think about it!

Don we are still in Renovations, where you see the burgundy chesterfield ... That’s the sweet spot ..
But yet there is a open wall behind the sweet spot that leads in to my dining room ... It's open at 6 feet.
I'm debating if I should open it to 8 or 9 feet.. for eating purposes lol ...  :thumb:
