This is my small diy integrated amplifier! it is 8 W X 2 3/4 H X 12 D
My goals were: To build a small integrated amp, 100 watts RMS per channel, using the best parts I could afford ( $600 just the parts), sound must be as close to Bryston B60/B100 as possible.

PS: it feels good to build your own amplifier and even better when it sounds wonderful  :thumb:

So true! It is simply awesome to take a concept from your mind and have it manifest in the corporeal.

Hey alexone,

I believe DOF is a camera/lens term meaning: Depth of Field.  I had to Google it but when I found it, it made sense, given the shot.

A smaller aperture is needed to increase the dop. ( if you have a lens with this feature) The closer the focus the shallower the depth becomes. Try  F8. :thumb:

The larger the aperture relative to the focal length, the more shallow the DOF, IIRC.   ie shooting with an 80mm lens at f/1.4 will have a picture with a shallow DOF.

Sorry I wasn't here to address the question but I see others stepped up. You can also google "bokeh" for some additional examples of shallow DOF photography.

My 85 1.2L is lens probably the best at it, though the 35 1.4L isn't far off.

My best bokeh machine is probably the Zeiss 110 f/2 fe for my 203 fe 'blad.

Indeed, that Zeiss offers creamy bokeh in the sample shots I've seen posted. Great piece of glass.

Bokeh is the look of out of focus high lights and can be a very creative effect. :thumb:
