I assume you meant to say that the ICE Power modules you are using are UL certified.
Unless you submitted your completed product to UL for certification and passed, your amps are not UL certified.

This is correct. It was worded wrong.

The boards inside our amps are UL listed.

So I guess you guys are going with the ASP 500 for the Diablo?  I would suggest considering two 125ASX modules in BTL mode for a better sounding stereo amp.  The 125ASX series has some sonic advantages over the older designs from ICEpower.

Hi Barrows,

We have a few 125ASX2 boards on hand but they are not as stable when you bridge them. If you have power hungry speakers like Magnepans, they might dip too low, causing the amp board to go into protection mode. The 500ASP is the best amp module for the Diablo :)

Matt, it is nice to be a part of your history being the first taker of the diablo 500.  List me as a founding member of your fan club  :) Good thing that patience is a virtue of mine.  But on the other hand, I cannot wait my friend.

A few quick updates.

The Inferno case and cover are expected back from anodizing this Friday (13th) and we'll start to wire it up over the weekend. Remember that we are only going to make one of these amps, unless a special request is asked to make another. If you interested in the first and possibly only Inferno, let us know  :thumb:

Material has been ordered for 5 completed Diablos and the cost was not cheap!! But well worth it.

Custom made boxes with foam inserts have been ordered and will be done next Friday (20th).

Buyers:
Ramon #0001
Joe #0002

We only require 50% upfront. These 5 Diablos should ship by Friday the 27th. The next batch of 5 will be made in October.

We picked up the material for 5 soon to be completed Diablo stereo amps. Jas told me they metal shop would close at 6pm and i checked their website before leaving just to confirm, why does it say 5pm!!! because it was 4:45pm and i was stuck in traffic. I called and it was 5pm for putting orders in and 6pm for will call. I almost had to buy new pants!

My new Kia Forte was riding a little low on the way home..... We should charge customers gas money to get the material

In total we picked up 320lbs of 6061 T6 aluminum!!

We'll upload more pictures tonight, as we got the Inferno~200 back from black anodizing, hope to have it all wired up and running over the weekend  :D

Just wanted to say we did not get a chance to upload pictures of the black anodized Inferno last night. But they will be up tomorrow.

Currently at the shop making Diablo cases  :icon_twisted:

They weigh 57lbs before they enter the machine and they should weigh about 14lbs when complete (no cover). That is a loss of 43lbs lol

Stay tuned this weekend!

We got some time to take a few shots of the Inferno~200 after anodizing. The black anodizing sure does look pretty and will be wired up in the next few days :)

All done folks and boy does it sound fantastic!! We had lunch at my house today, both Jas and I really want one now :) But will probably make a few extra Diablo~500's  :thumb:

We'll be creating a FS thread just for this amp later tonight. It is a true one of a kind amp, since we are making one of them but it does come with a 2 year full coverage warranty!

Matt and Jas
