I'm considering a family-room/media-room addition on my house and did some searching here, but haven't located any longer discussions on room dimensions.
While I have a number of size constraints, I'd like to get a feel for reasonably good room dimensions and specifically acceptable room dimension ratios for OB designs, if any.
There's lots of general audio-room discussion on the web, but I'm not clear if there any OB-related issues that need to be considered, specifically for a pair of Super V's.
I'll be getting design-build estimates in the coming weeks, I have a footprint behind the house that could accommodate a 16-18W x 21L x 10-12H room. The W & H dimensions are somewhat flexible while length may not be.
Also..anyone have any thoughts/experience with using "Bolt Area" as a guideline for reasonable audio room dimensions?

I'm not overly concerned with focusing on home-theater audio goals/constraints..when in doubt I'd lean toward 2 channel audio needs/requirements rather than those for theater. The room will also be a living space, not a dedicated audio-only room.
