CD eating fungus

Looks like this fungus can destroy a CD-R or a pressed CD with equal facility.  I wouldn't get in a panic, however, unless you live in a rain forest in Central America.  :wink:

BTW, lest any vinyl fans yuck it up about the "perfect sound forever" rotting away like this, a very similar fungus has been indentified that can munch LPs the same way.   Of course, I'm sure the LPs taste much "smoother" going down!  :lol:
