If the laser transport are fine it may worth repair if the price are résonable. I would use it in this condition until it fail.

Probably is worth repairing, true CD players are so expensive these days.

Yes, all the caps should be replaced. The age of the player puts it in the middle of the bad batch of counterfeit capacitors everyone bought between 1999 and 2007.

I'd agree with Wayne fwiw. I doubt you'll find anything near the overall quality of the basic unit at anywhere near the price of the repair. Of course that simply a guess as to repair cost. Not sure I'd agree with FRM regarding running it till failure as that might cause other issues that currently don't exist.

You appear to have several repair shops at your disposal.  If I were you I would have every single electrolytic cap replaced in that unit for another 20+ years of enjoyment.
