I recently sent back a remite kit for the Goldpoint/Dact the was factory installed in a Mapletree unit. I think it worked out very well. If you are looking to do a kit for the Goldpoint or Dact definitely call him up. I am not sure if the units made in the past will have space for this in them but he will certainly know right away.
I am guessing that there may not be enough power to run the motor in a unit unless it was planned with the remote in mind. If that is the case then the easy solution for a refit (provided it fits space wise) would be to just run a separate wall supply that I can include for you.
