Oh no! The Superclock 3 is out!
« on: 25 Nov 2004, 12:25 am »
I was doing some surfing yesterday and noticed that Audiocom has recently released the Superclock 3.  Does anyone have anymore info on this new device?  Are we all going to have to send our units back to Steve for an upgrade to the latest and greatest?  I just had the Superclock 2 installed less than 6 mos. ago...

Here's the link:

I doubt if the stock Superclock3 is better than my modded Superclock2, but I have not tried one yet.  Hopefully, I will be able to mod the SC3 as well. (if they haven't changed it too much). I understand that this one allows 3.3V operation, which would be a nice improvement.  I have to mod the SC2 to do this now.

Do I have this right:

You are going to spend $300 on a clock from somewhere in the UK, and then pay Steve to make it work right. Is that it?

Why not talk Steve into making his own "superclock"? I'm sure that he could do it. Would be easier and cheaper in the long run that way, right?
