Not sure where the recommended cut-off is for OB subs and the NX-Studios. Are the subs playing high enough that stereo subs is recommended?
Stereo subs are good for balancing out the room loading, and improve sound quality by each woofer only playing half as hard to keep up.
The actual crossing over point can have just as much to do with room gains, and if you roll off the lows on the NX-Studio.
