Smaller GIK Bass Traps?
« on: 5 May 2010, 01:55 pm »
Bryan,

Will GIK make small (half size) bass traps?  I've been thinking of maybe trying some more in the rear but am curious if you'll make smaller ones?

Also, what is the point of no return in relashionship to size?

We can custom size any of our products to be smaller than standard.  Tri Traps, we can only shorten (can't change the triangular dimension).  244's and monsters we can change both dimensions (L and W).  There is a $25 upchage from the standard size to do the custom sizing.

As for the other, it's really more of a cost/benefit situation.  I usually tell people if it's getting to be around 1/2 size, might not be worth the money unless there is a specific issue that requires it.

GIK is awesome at customization. I had requested a 244 panel with larger dimensions to cover an opening and it came out great. I picked up about 20 pieces a couple years ago and still thrilled with the results!  :thumb:

Just to add to Bryan's post. Yes there is a $25 upcharge for smaller, but if you need it bigger we have to work up a quote for you.
