My two daughters were in town last month. My daughter
from Washington had asked earlier for one of my handbuilt
amplifiers .
So while she was here I gave her one of my
2-stage 2A3 DC stereo prototype amp. a pair of SuperNtN 2A3's ,
had only a few hours on a pair of Sovtek 12AX7LPS's and
a good 5U4 , all packed and boxed up . I demoed the amp
to my daughter and her boyfriend before they drove back
to Washington.
I had already given my son a Fisher 500C with a pair of
JBL 4301's. Which he has setup in the music room of his
house .
So the other daughter from San Diego was shown her amp
the " Black Train ", Wurlitzer 2 stage 417A I.T. Coupled 45/2A3 PP amp.
She didn't take it back to San Diego with her but she's making
plans. She was the one who took one of my full color inside the
6SN7-2A3 IT 845 amp illustration drawings. Had it blown up to
a 20" X 25" sized and framed it and has it at her home,
It's so cool to be able to do that.
