Lost screw for N3S woofer
« on: 9 Jun 2013, 05:48 pm »
I was putting the finishing touches on my n3s and could not find one of my screws.

Anybody know the specs of it? I would rather not pull one and go down to lowes and hope I can match it up.

I had them custom made. They are a machine screw thread with a pan head and they take a number 15 Torx bit. They are also Black anodized. Typically I throw in an extra one in case one gets lost. Check your parts for extras.

Anodized?  I don't remember my N3 kit having aluminum screws as you mention but here is what you describe in black coated steel.  http://www.mcmaster.com/#machine-screw-fasteners/=n4cqcw

Yeah not anodized (wrong word). Black oxide coated or something....

I ordered over 300 pounds of them so I haven't had to re-order them for a while.
