For some time now I’ve been enjoying my ELT PBS’s along with LRS’s … in my Home Theater system downstairs… Looks “off the hook” great, and sounds just sensational… Therein lies my dilemma.
Much to my great surprise the ELT PBS / LRS system just has not really caught on… I’m not sure why, but this system flat out “makes sense” --- Exciting, tuneful, robust and ultra-dynamic, while being extremely versatile and easy to deal with. The PBS’s work easily in all rooms and conditions because the built-in 150-watt woofer amplifier allows for more “tune-ability” than a normal loudspeaker would offer… We set the High Pass at 31Hz so all you have to do is connect your amp leads to the woofer amp and simply install the jumpers (which we provide, BTW) to the LRS’s… Simple and easy… you’re up and running in less than 5 minutes…
So how can this system (normally $850 for the pair) be $149 each… let me explain how we’re doing this…
