STEREOVOX INTRODUCES "HDSE" TO STUDIO LINE

COCONUT GROVE, FL, AUGUST 10, 2004 - Stereovox, Inc.,  an emerging leader in the high-performance audio cable industry, has announced the addition of a new product to its STUDIO line: HDSE.

HDSE is an abbreviation for High Definition Single-Ended, an RCA-to-RCA interconnect that both trickles down technology from the Reference Line and introduces new technology to Stereovox.

HDSE is a small interconnect of unusual precision, constructed from pure tape-wrapped Full Density PTFE ("Teflon"), a silver-plated copper woven shield, an FEP jacket and a single high-purity copper conductor with an unusual feature: it is a micro-sized tube with 0.008" thick walls.

This "microtube" feature gives the conductor the skin profile of 32 AWG conductor while maintaining the lower resistance of a larger gauge. This permits the HDSE to perform with the agility and grace of thin-conductors without suffering from their high resistance - and yet it is also a monocoque product that won't suffer from problems associated with stranded and "litz" designs that have purported to solve the "skin-depth vs. resistence" challenge.

The performance increase is certainly significant, but more significant is the price at which Stereovox is introducing this new product: $199.99 per 1.0mpr, once again seeking to "raise the bar" on what consumers can expect for their investment. Chris Sommovigo, president of Stereovox, has designed a special RCA connector for this product that draws attributes from his more expensive Xhadow designs in an "economy" connector. Extending the value proposition as always, Stereovox is offering their Limited Lifetime Warranty to original purchasers.

Commenting on the HDSE product, Mr. Sommovigo stated: "HDSE seeks to fill in some of the missing pieces of the Studio line by offering tremendous value and performance for the money in an analog interconnect. Soon we will add teh HDLS loudspeaker cable and an AES/EBU cable as well as some new products in the Reference Line. We're constantly testing limits at each end of the spectrum: from "Cost no Object" to "Cost is the Object", Stereovox remains dedicated to its mission of delivering the best possible performance at each price point."

HDSE will be available through authorized Stereovox dealers and distributors starting September 1, 2004.

Stereovox, Inc., located in Coconut Grove, Florida, manufactures high-performance audio and video cable products under the Stereovox brand. Founded in 1996 by Chris Sommovigo and Tony de Almeida for the purpose of creating archival quality music recordings, the company's continuous research and experience within the field eventually led to the evolution of its high-performance cable products, introduced in the year 2001. Since that time Stereovox has released the Reference-Grade SEI-600 line-level single-ended interconnects and the LSP-600 loudspeaker cables, BAL-600 balanced interconnect, and Studio grade HDXV digital cable - each recognized as among the very few best products of their kind in the world.

Yes.  But its release will trail the HDSE by a month or so.  Here is a picture to let you know, as with all stereovox products, EVERYTHING is custom made for them.
