One of these designs produces a lot of sound for a reasonable price.

Two Alpha 15A woofers, your choice of a variety of full range drivers (the FF85WK is great and cheap) and a passive crossover. Should be less than $500 for a pair.

I had them and made a Caintuck Audio Betsy's with very good results. Sold them when I bought my horns. Randy is a great guy look him up.
