Title: Custom wood trim. Spectacular!
Post by: Niteshade on 16 Feb 2010, 06:24 pm
Here is a link to my cabinet maker's web site's wood selection:

http://www.delnero.com/custom-made/wood-furniture.html

I will have examples of Mr. Delnero's work very soon. You should find his craftsmanship on par with some of the best in the world.

Mr. "B"

Why you did not think of this before is still a puzzle.

That is what we are talking about.  :eyebrows:

Nicely done Sir.

P.S
Just a thought -
Woodcraft.com sells custom brass "deco tags" (you can choose your logo, name and model/ser. number).  It would add some charm IMHO.

Wait until the rest of the amp is revealed! It's one of my new 2010 Flagships. That's all I'm going to say for now.  :D

I should have made this improvement (option) long ago, you are right. You will see some rack mount enclosures as well. (Look at my avatar photo)

BTW: Love the badge!  :thumb: I will look into it.

Dove tail joint is perfectly made. All pieces are first class work, we need this kind of quality in Hi-End audio.

Hi Blair,

Do you have to modify the 'class d' chips?

Regards

Rod

Thank you!  :thumb:  Wood is great for its anti-resonance properties and of course looks. I love the solid feel of it. If kept up, it will last a lifetime. It is a logical upgrade, one that I approve of since it enhances functionality as well as appearance.

I have a new page dedicated to Delnero's wood accents:

Nice choice on the wood enclosures. They look stunning. Waiting to see the "whole" amplifier :green:

Class D Two Chassis 5 Channel Amp Enclosures. Quilted Maple!
We are using two enclosures so the power supply can be separated from the audio components. More room, less heat buildup, better component placement and less weight to pick up at one time are a few of the benefits. Venting is through rear ports.

We're working on some new badges for these. Can't wait!

Michael Delnero does super-fine work.  :D

These enclosures are custom work. Don't hesitate to ask for customized enclosures or audio gear that has to fill a specific need. A few new products and upgrade options were developed based on customer's requirements. More good news: Customizations are reasonably priced. I am always happy to provide quotes.

I am having Blair make a Beacon II along with a NS-60SE amp trimmed in quilted maple.  It has been a long wait for the wood but if my wood trim looks like what is in the above picture, I am one happy camper!  :D

Hopefully, you will have the other aesthetic upgrades(badges, etc.) that you have been talking about for my two pieces. 8)

Your trim is here as well. It was all in the same batch and it looks very nice- just like the photos a few messages up. Tiger maple is one of my favorites.

A reminder: Delnero Furniture has about 28 varieties of wood! All trim and enclosures are 100% solid.

Hello,

I am the guy that Blair is making the two enclosure 5 channel digital amp for.  I usually do not post on this particular forum, but I felt that I just needed to chime in.

Blair has been very helpful working with me on this build.  I looked at all kinds of amplifiers from several different companies and finally chose Niteshade due to the ease of talking to Blair and his willingness to try something a little different.  I am very excited about this amplifier.  Can't wait to get it home and worked into the system.
