Thanks Paul!

Finally had a chance to unpack them tonight.  Not an easy chore on crutches.......

They are much larger than my previous Omegas.
The red maple is a lot nicer looking in person than in pictures.
Louis has taken another step up in his finish quality.

Quick first impressions - there is plenty of high end for me on the B200 drivers - I don't see a need for a tweeter at this point.   They are very sensitive - the Scott 222 drives them to high levels and the amp appears to be running out of gas before the speakers.   They are very fast and have an excellent tone.

Looking forward to a bunch of vinyl listening over the weekend.  Can't wait!

Congratulations Brad! Are they new drivers? I've had my A8s for a couple of months and they have really broken in nicely. My patience has been well rewarded. Yes, Louis really is a craftsman. I went with the macassar ebony which I really like. Enjoy your New Years listening to tunes! :D

Hi Brad,

Great to hear you got the A8s. They take a while to break in and the balance gets much more even. Hope you ditch the crutches and get well very soon.

Thanks again,
Louis
