Watts calculation tying amp speaker ground together
« on: 28 May 2022, 07:18 pm »
My amp is a bit under powered at 35 watts. If I tie the speaker output grounds together does anyone know the calculation for new watts?  Any negative side effects?

No sound. Never try this on a Class D digital amp.

Thank you. That article says in unbridged mode it is ok to do. Now, my application would either be a Red Rose Music hybrid or a class D Gen Fet or ICE that I am looking at. You seem to know about class D physics as being different that A or A/B or B, inferred. I am going to take your advice and never do it. Thank you for answering
