Ultrasone Signature Studio Headphones
« on: 5 May 2018, 12:53 am »
Yesterday, i stumbled across a deal on Amazon that was too good to pass up: a pair of Ultrasone Signature Studio cans at half price ($299). The price went back up almost immediately after I bought 'em. I had been looking for a new pair of headphones for travel, and had pretty much settled on the (now discontinued) Oppo PM-3s or the B&W P7s.

Ultrasone's technology has always intrigued me, as has their low profile in the market. I rarely see reviews or discussions of their goods anywhere. From what little I've seen, their higher-end models seem to be widely respected among audiophiles. So, when I saw the Sig Studios at half price, I had to pull the trigger. I'm looking forward to their arrival in the next couple of days. In the meantime, if anyone has experience with Ultrasone cans generally or the Signature Studio model in particular, I'd be interested to hear about it.
