Would like to get into some of the racing gaming but to do it right you need a lot of gear, good computer, video screens (at least 2 or 3), steering wheel & pedals, etc....does anyone make a system that uses Virtual Reality? Seems a good VR system would cost a lot less....maybe?

Having played a few vr racing games over the years, they are worth setting up if you're into it. Get a wheel (g920 Logitech) and a moderate PC and obviously a vr headset should be set for less than a matched pair of fancy 300B tubes. :lol: A capable PC is pretty inexpensive these days. Something even 5 years old with an Nvidia 2080 card and you'll have a blast. Now that they have 40-series video cards that damn near make you breakfast in the morning, the older series are maybe a couple hundred $$. PC will have the most variety of VR games so I would still steer that way.
There are several good games out there, but by far the most gut wrenching was Dirt Rally series. Cockpit view going balls out through a windy forested gravel road will upend your stomach so fast. :thumb: Stressful, but super fun and challenging.

Gran Turismo 7, on PS5 with VR2 headset is quite good IMO. Many reviews on youtube. Things start to add up, $600 PS5, $60 GT7, $300 VR2. From there a foldaway chassis and peddle wheel set. Next thing you are at around $1,700 if you go about it smartly. Forget to play for a day, and next thing six months go by and you haven't touched it. Motion sickness is an issue, but you get used to it after awhile if you take it slow.
