HEres what I wrote about it...
Quote
I found an offending component.. A stereovox XV2 digital cable. I recently got it.... and it was the thing that was pushing the soundstage forward, plus doing weird things to the phase. I compared it to my previous dig cable, swapping 4 or 5 times. All this after speaking to Gregg, he stated that the other cables might be not getting along. So when the Stereovox was in I couldnt place anything on the soundstage and it was a lil dizzying. When I put the old Morrow dig cable in I saw a soundstage now back where it was, but wider. Weird eh? I am liking the cable. You can actually hear a difference. YEs you can. I can.

That person  I was writing to under the audio protection  program stated the Stereovox  was bright, digital and had no soul.

Now what I heard was what I heard.. like Popeye hehe...
The Stereovox didnt like something in my system... perhaps its cable interaction?
And when I say forward I mean all over you like  BAD SUIT.

idk Im no scientist.. tho i do play one late at night in pantyhose.

That is pretty much the opposite of my experience.  I find XV2 to be one of the LEAST colored cables or components I have ever tried, so much so I bought a second one, which I have never done before.  Don't shoot the messenger..   :dunno:
