I've never been much of an Apple person(unless were talking Beatles) but I've been comparing some Lame Mp3 CD rips from DBPowerAmp to Itunes that my daughter bought.
Is it just my imagination or are all Itunes heavily compressed?. I like to look at my MP3's on Audacity to see waht they look like graphically, and most times they have quite a bit of Dynamic Range. I wish I could look at what an ITunes song looks like, but sadly I can't.
It didn't make much difference on ITunes material, it all seemed to be compressed about the same.
