I have a imac as my music server. I was thinking of trying to isolate it from my audio rack to keep some of the vibrations from the hard drives and such from being conveyed through the audio rack. I was thinking of using a sheet of grungebuster and cutting it to fit the bottem of the foot the imac sits on. Is this a good idea or is there a better way?

Sure, it's a good idea, KingStyles. Regular grungebuster Dots work very well under an iMac, also.
