Well, as long as SWMBO lets me get away with it, I'm thoroughly enjoying some gospel Christmas tunes courtesy of the Blind Boys of Alabama.
I've been told that Josh Groban is next

Go Tell it on the Mountain

This Grammy winner is a perennial favorite, selling throughout the year — because it’s the hippest ‘holiday’ album ever made. The septuagenarian Gospel greats enlisted a star-studded gallery of guests — including Aaron Neville, Chrissie Hynde, Mavis Staples, Michael Franti, George Clinton, Robert Randolph, Tom Waits, Solomon Burke, Shelby Lynne — winning their third consecutive Grammy in Traditional Soul Gospel.

Last Month of the Year
I Pray on Christmas (ft. Solomon Burke)
Go Tell It On The Mountain (ft. Tom Waits)
Little Drummer Boy (ft. Michael Franti)
In The Bleak Midwinter (ft. Chrissie Hynde with Richard Thompson)
Joy To The World (ft. Aaron Neville)
Born in Bethlehem (ft. Mavis Staples)
The Christmas Song (ft. Shelby Lynne)
Away In A Manger (ft. George Clinton with Robert Randolph)
Oh Come All Ye Faithful (ft. Me’shell Ndegéocello)
White Christmas (ft. Les McCann)
Silent Night

P'man, yer a man after my own heart on that one.  Terrific isn't it.  Listening to the tunes with dense choruses you can still pick out Mitchell and Slick.  A seminal album to me as I'm sure I've said ad nauseam already.  Nice system, man.  Here's hoping you can get a better room down the road :drums:.

That Marvin Gaye album is damn fine, too.

Funny you should mention that Jim. The last week or so I've been reorganizing and getting rid of anything I deem unnecessary in my basement. I'ts looking like I'll end up with enough space for a 14 x 16 ft. space. For the last 3 years or so I've just been doing nothing because of the Rt. 80 expansion project here where I live. We found out recently that our house will not be torn down(we live very close to Rt. 80)as part of the project. Hopefully with a little help it will be done by May. Yep I'm very slow
