Bryston Mini T’s
« on: 13 May 2022, 02:04 pm »
Does anybody know if Axiom speakers would be a compatible match to the mini Ts.
They would be for height speakers for Atmos.
My mini Ts are doing surround duties in a 5.1 system.
Retired my av8 processor and bit the bullet on a Anthem 70.
Wanted to go with mini A’s but the 70 killed most of my budget.
Thx.

Found my answers on AVS.
Going to dump the mini Ts and go with Revel surrounds  and do Triads for tops.

Actually last week I just redid my cabling from rca’s to balanced as the ol Arcam av-8 was rca throughout.
Without even doing delays, distances ect I popped in the Eagles(Live in Melbourne) and seemed quite a step up from the av8.
Yesterday ran the Arc Genesis program and watched the Equalizer II.
Holy shitzter what a nice surprise.
Thought my dual sb-16s were dialed in fine(not) before just using my ears and setting distance with a meter for blending in the subs.
Summarizing the room sounds double in size at least including the 7’5” high ceiling.
The bottom end is like a layer in which the mids and highs seem to float above if that makes sense.
Tons more separation.
This is first try with the Genesis program so I’m sure I’m overly excited at the improvements so far.
I just have 5.2 for now and no Atmos yet(soon).
Waiting for James to put out the new line of T speakers as perhaps will keep the mini Ts and install some T book shelf speakers on the ceiling.
She’s early but I’m impressed so far with the Anthem 70.
And basically right out of the box.
Will do a another concert tonight with the Genesis employed,
Cant wait.
