I don't have that on vinyl or cd. The Deer Head Inn sound very familiar.

I must of heard of that lp before. Looks like a cool place!

I thought it might only be on CD CB due to the fact it was released in 1992

Upcoming at the Deer Head Inn (Thursday night there's no cover) I just might go.
No cover usually means a local artist.

I haven't been there in about a year or so. I'll ask my date (wife) if she wants to go on Thursday evening.
Like she'd ever say no.

Thought I add this:

The Deer Head Inn, the longest continuously running jazz club in the country and Home of Jazz in the Pocono Mountains

5 minutes from Route 80 and the Delaware River. The Inn is a four-story hotel with 8 tasetfully decorated rooms and 2 suites,
and a restaurant, bar and jazz club.

Sounds like a fine venue to have that close to home P-man. Pricing is most reasonable as well.  :thumb:

Cool!  :thumb:

You should take in a show. Very cool place.

Jarrett, Peacock and Motian on that little stage must have been incredible.

I play this album every year on this day as a dedication to my friend John that I lost 29 years ago in '84 to cancer. He was only 30 and I was 28. John loved this lp and he used to play a few tunes off it on his Fender Rhodes in my basement back then with me and my band. How time flies.

Ok, for sticklers, this is probably more orchestral than jazz, but as some of us old timers say, "close enough for government work".

Not at the peak of his powers and with an unfamiliar rhythm section, it's still damned good and recorded well.
