It's a two disc CD....buy it.

Only wish I could have seen PM perform during these recordings.

Unlike NJ where I was born, you can't drive to many Jazz Clubs from HI.

Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers (Artist) | Format: Vinyl

A moderately clean, say VG++, EMI France DMM remaster, same as my copy of Lee Morgan's Sidewinder.

So happy, saw this on the RadioActive FB page on a Thursday, and hoped it would be there the next Monday when I flew in, and it was. A superb album, and Lee Morgan's trumpet is top-shelf here. Never heard 'It's Only a Paper Moon' played so nice.

Live Sides is better still, imo, for their "Impressions". Whew! But this is good, too, from back when they hit the LA scene from Texas.

I love the tone of Golson's sax. This CD also features the great late Shirley Horn with her warm rich toneful voice. Oh this work has so much emotion and romance to the music.
