Border Patrol Dac USB SE-i SOLD

I bought this dac new from Border Patrol in 2018 and it is in excellent condition. I had it upgraded to the SE-i version with Jupiter caps,which was a significant improvement. Also included in the sale are 2 extra tubes to roll. It comes with the original Philips EZ80, plus nos Brimar EZ80 and a nos Sylvania EZ80. I had it serviced by Gary Dews in June 2022 to replace the USB circuit. It is running up to specs and sounds very lifelike. This is the USB output version.

It will come shipped insured in manufacture box with the manual.

New the dac costs $1525. This one is for sale for $950 plus shipping.

is that a scratch close to the B on the faceplate?

Thanks Marvin, good catch as I hadn’t seen that.

The scratch is 1/4” long and only visible in the right light. The condition is now Very Good instead of Excellent. I’m lowering the price to $900+ shipping.
