Hello folks.

I'm wondering if there's anyone/anyplace in this area where I can physically bring my 1960 and 1961 Raytheon 12AX7A Blackplates and have them tested.  I have six of them and I want to check/confirm if there are good matches.

Anyone know of any business or anyone who does that in this area?

Thank you.

I can with my tester...not a true matching tester as there really only a couple that REALLY do that.  Mine can test and give you a number as a reference.  Alpha Sound & Light (Al Forbes) http://www.alphasoundandlight.com/AlphaSoundAndLightContactUs.asp has a pretty good test as well.  I'm ex. 25 off 77

Thanks guys.  I'll keep it in mind.

jtwrace,   what exactly does your tester measure and test for?

Thanks.

I think I can accommodate your needs with some calibrated testers I have on hand. Just PM me when convenient.
