Bryston showed like 9 ft tall speakers.

It certainly reproduced very lively sound. I felt like I actually was at a live concert while listening to some tracks.

James T explained Bryston's speaker design philosophy, which I found interesting.

MEMO: To All Bryston Customers
SUBJECT: Bryston Room Toronto AudioFest 2019 –Positive Feedback

October 2019

 Toronto Audiofest 2019
  Malcolm J. Gomes

“Bryston is one of the pre-eminent brands in Canada and as usual, the room was always full of Bryston die-hard fans checking out the latest of what this brand has to offer.

James Tanner, the Vice President of Bryson showed us the new Bryston BDA-3.14 DAC that now offers streaming as well.

What you could not miss in this room were the towering Bryston T-Rex speakers. They stand at 9-feet tall with an array of 14 driver units.

The T-Rex comprises two Model T’s stacked on top of each other to form a mirror image. The T-Rex has extra bracing and a layer of rubber between the two stacked speakers.

This system threw a huge sound stage, which was very well defined.”

Thanks, it was great talking with you about your system and your WAF - and I believe we had a picture taken?

Hi James! Yes, we did take a photo! Thanks so much for taking the time to chat with me. I'm a really proud Canadian considering what Bryston has accomplished! The WAF accepted the story I provided about the RM20/BIT20 and she allowed just ONE more purchase. I'll wait a few months and convince her I need to convert my 4B3 into 7B3s. LOL  :icon_lol:

BTW, Congrats on the Lifetime Achievement Award! Fully DESERVED!
