I know these amps are getting a bit old. But I took a shot, and bought one from a local individual. I am a long time tube guy, and ha vent owned a SS amp since the Cyrus I. All I can say is wow, this is a fine amp. It has the grace and ease of presentation a good tube amp has. But without the sonic flavoring of a tube. No added warmth, or midrange bloom. Transparent, with a huge soundstage. It gives nothing up in terms of detail retrieval to my SET amps. As a bonus, I get to play with a wider range of speakers, since my previous amps limited me to high efficiency offerings. This has been a satisfying purchase.
