Wherever a digital IC is required, I use Mogami W3173 wire and the XLRs Neutrik makes specifically for digital applications.

Hi dubkarma. Have you had a chance to compare the BDA-1, Lavry Black, and the Benchmark DAC 1, in your signature, head to head? How would you characterize the differences?

Not exactly hifi, but I use a Cambridge Audio Dacmagic with an airport express (with 28BSST-2 and Kef Reference 207/2)

Used mainly with Spotify.

Needless to say, the compressed source does impart quite some distortion

Sounds great. Waiting for the Wavelength Audio Wavelink and new Berkeley USB -> AES converters to come out in the coming months.
