My powermax surge protector outlet has bitten the dust, and I am looking for a replacement. Even with whole house surge protection, I like the idea of an added layer before my electronics.

What offers good bang for the buck?

These look like they could do the job. The 20 amp unit is interesting. I getting ready to build a house and was planning to put two 20 amp circuits into the media room.

I would be interested in general feedback on that approach (along with my quest for a replacement surge protector, of course).
