Omega Deep Hemp Deuce custom shop subwoofer. Ebony wood, and square grille at the top (no magnets). This is an Omni subwoofer and if you’ve heard the Omega Deep Hemp 8 it’s even faster and punchier.
I had another one and was going to do stereo subs at one point with my SAM HO but ended up buying an Audio Note rig.
The subwoofer was JUST picked up from Louis a few days ago and hasn’t even been in-wrapped. The photos of the sub setup are of my first sub (identical to the one in the box except for the round grille)

The box/materials shown are what Louis ships all of his speakers in. The floor spikes would need to be shipped in a separate, small box. However, if the purchaser would like a double box of the sub or for, say, FedEx to package the sub we can certainly discuss those options. Double boxing should only cost a little bit more for shipping (if need some additional materials). Thank you for the interest!

Okay, thanks. Yes, I've got four of his tower speakers shipping boxes here and the packaging is superb.
I think I'll ask Louis about placement for this in my system. The omni intrigues me.

It’s a great sounding sub, and being Omni the placement is less important (my room was by the best). I’d totally hang on to if I wasn’t all Audio Note now.
Which Omegas are you using?

A pair of original Super 3 XRS and a pair of new 3 XRS in shipment to try a quad and see what that's like. I've purposly avoided subs but as you say if the omni is easily integrated, then.... I'm guess the single omni would go on one pair and the other pair would run without. This whole quad idea was born from the Black Ice F360 preamp. Not sure if it will stay but I'm trying it out.

I too tried to avoid subs for as long as possible, but some of the Omega lineup called for it. I head a friends Super 3 setup with his normal Omega sub and couldn't say no from there. It filled everything in so well.

I'd grab it but for the coming week a friend is loaning me a sub to try out. I've got a lightweight floor over a sub-basement (that acts like a drum head) that will either be cool or not with a sub. Hope it works! If so, that Deuce would be so sweet.

Whereabouts in CT are you located? Anywhere near Greenwich? I just bought a pair of Super6 Alnico Monitors and am wondering what's the recommended method for pairing them with this subwoofer. Is the high level speaker connection from the amp to the subwoofer and out to the monitors the preferred method? Very tempting...

I’m in the Middletown area but will meet half way no problem. I always used a sub out on my preamp but Louis uses speaker cables. It’s a killer sub!
