Has anyone determined a decent 12VDC 1 amp linear PSU for powering an Off Ramp?

Best I've found are from Paul Hynes.  Also good are Acopian.  Add a larger heat sink and an Invisus regulator will do the job.

I'm an enthusiastic owner of the Paul Hynes SR3-12 linear supply.  The build quality is absolutely-off chart and the performance is there in spades.  Relative to the wall wart running my PaceCar 2, the Paul Hynes supply tightened up the bass nicely and solidified the middle of my soundstage considerably.  It didn't give me a larger stage necessarily, but instruments and vocals are anchored much more firmly within the existing boundaries.  Uber-highly recommended!

Paul Hynes and Bolder Cable are excellent choices of course! if you want to experiment and spend less, may want to look at this discussion over at Bolder Cable regarding an inexpensive linear PSU:
