Omega Super 3i's and REL TZERO subwoofer
« on: 17 May 2024, 08:48 pm »
I just started putting together a new desk top rig using a Schiit Gjallarhorn powering some Super 3i's. Would a REL TZERO be a good match to give the speakers a good bass foundation for nearfield listening?

Schiit Bifrost 2/64 -> Schiit Jotunheim 2 -> Schiit Lokius tone control -> Schiit Gjallarhorn -> Omega Super 3i -> REL TZERO

Sure
Small room?
A T/5 would probably be better.

Small room subwoofer sitting under the desk I am sitting at. Only for near field music listening.

The Tzero will add something, but it is more what I consider a bass module or helper woofer.
The T/5x is only a little larger, but $200 more expensive and perhaps not in the budget.
Looking new or used?
