Tube Audio Lab

I came across this site and the work looks really nice.  Anyone use him before?
It seems that he even has diy kits.

Have purchased both an amp and preamp from Min.  Highly recommended - both good quality gear and great prices for what you get.  Have only had him build me gear so don't have any experience with kits.

Min is the best!  He does awesome work and charges very reasonable rates.  I currently have this amp:

The original price is in the link.

It'll be based on the design (complex, he's already made one, etc.) and what parts you want him to use.

I built one of his kits, the 2A3 WE91A clone. You can find the page he lists several people who built kits if you dig around his site a little.
He's a great guy, the kit was great and I think holds up to products many times the price (pretty typical for DIY IMO). The amps he builds look way better than mine.
I'd recommend him without hesitation.

He made both my preamp and amp.  He's very flexible and will work with any reasonable design, both cosmetic and performance based.  In my case, I sent him the bases, we agreed on layout and component parts, about a month later, I had the finished deal.

My linestage:

Yes, stunning is a good word to describe them.

Just to give the OP an idea on cost: The integrated kit I built was ~ $1K, and a built-by-Min version ran ~ $1,500 a year ago. All that's depending on what parts and other options you select. The amp in the picture looks like the same circuit I built (6C6 driving 2A3s, please correct if I'm wrong), but with much better parts and a much much better look. Mine sounds fantastic, I can only imaging what the upgrades Mijknarf got would do to the sound.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm going on two years with the amp and only several months with the linestage, both pieces have had 0 issues.  Both are very quiet used on my HE drivers.  To the Op, give Min a call or e-mail him, I've found him to be infinitely flexible and very responsive.  Best of luck with your project, let us know what decision/direction you take.
