What is your opinion of this equipment?

Hot swappable hard drive and blue ray player is pretty awesome. If this could somehow play TV (a la Ceton or HDHomerun) and surf the web it would be a perfect source. I'm googling price now.

$500 retail. (http://dune-hd.com/news/143-dune-hd-max.html) You could build a pretty decent HTPC for that price.

Out of curiosity-and I don't mind if you have something to offer the forum-do you have a financial interest in this product? You should make it apparent in your post if that's the case for people who don't realize it.

I use Dune Smarts for my 3 rooms now.  After the fiascos of so many other players this thing is just rock solid.  The Max is ok but honestly I would just get the smart B1 if you want a drive in your streamer.  I have all D1s and stream off my unRaid.
