I want to thank Ben for the great support I received regarding installing new tubes in my RM 200 Mk II.
One tube in one channel glowed orange upon installing it and it had not occurred to me that the bias might be too high for that tube. I was contemplating sending the amp back for service, certainly an expensive proposition. Lowering the bias to its minimum per Ben's prompt e-mail instructions solved that problem at no expense.
Yes, some of us who should know better (my first tube amp was a 1966 Fisher) still have problems installing tubes
