When she walked out I expected to hear a little Janis Joplin singing. Wow is right. Hard to believe that wasn't faked.

Amira hs continued to sing.
Here is a Flower Song duet, made in 2018, at age 13.
I just hope she has a good coach, and her voice isn't ruined by "pushing it" too early,

This youngster knows how to play Bach!

The church has excellent acoustics and reverb time, and he is assisted by friends who pull and push the stops on cue.
Bach's Toccata and Fuge in D minor-- like you'e very seldom heard.

That really is borderline unbelievable.   How does a nine year old physically manage such a pure tone?

How much practice can a 9 year old have put in?  Even with practice,  it's eerie that a girl that young can produce music that sublime.

Yes, it was a serious question.  6 year olds practicing 6 hours a day is outside of my realm of experience.  For some it's the price of greatness, for others it's child abuse.
Somewhere I read that Paco de Lucia practiced 12 hours a day in his childhood, and dropped out of school at 12 because it interfered with his guitar.

I agree, it's abusive but there's a grey area in the law that turns a blind eye. Gifted children are rare, but do occur (think of Mozart, an obvious outlier not to be compared to this particular case, but still relevant). Maybe this kid was gifted to start with. A "freak" of nature.
