By the way, did I mention that one of my EBay auctions went *nuts* after I started taking djklmnop's photography advice? Woo hoo!!! :-)

I bet, that's why andy's so successful at fetching high prices for his wares on ebay

Photography actually a bigger hobby of mine than audio.

Audio is cheap, comparing to photography.

Been doing it since about 10 years old. :-)

World Peace.

Me too... I've been interested in this hobby for over 20 years now.

Santa just brought me a new Nikon F100 system for Christmas :-)

Happy Holidays Everyone.

Sweet Jesus!  An F100??  Have you taken it out for a test drive yet?  That F100 sure can take a beating.. What do you have in mind for it?

I might be getting myself a Toyo 45cf sometime next year, I can't wait.

Whoaaa!!! I'm not worthy enough to try out the large format yet.  Right now, I'm sticking with medium and 35mm format, no digital for me.

I use the medium format for portrait in my studio, 35mm for candid shot and wedding photography.

Tested out my F100 today and I've to say that I really like this body much more than the F5. Autofocus is quick and sharp and it's not big and bulky like the F5.

I don't know anything much about photography, but... I do have a copy of Ansel Adam's book "the camera" which was recommended by Mithril on the chat room. Very educational, about how the large format cameras work. Now when I look at some of his photos I have a much better appreciation of how the photos are taken.

Hey John,

You should check out this website:

E-6/Slide/Reversal film develops out as a direct positive rather than conventional negatives.

Ah.. with slides the film becomes the slide, which is positive... doh!!

Good stuff, thanks for the link Andy :-)
