Bummer that the date conflicts with the Long Beach Grand Prix.  I'll be blowing my ears out at the races.  I do use ear plugs after the first lap.  But I like to get the adrenaline pumping before I stuff the ear canals.

Update
Robert Lee of Acoustic Zen will be joining the meeting with his cables 8)

I wonder which speakers VSA is bringing.  VR4JR, VR4SE, or perhaps even VR5.  It would be very nice if VR5 or VR7 were there.  It's been YEARS since I've listened to their big speakers (VR6, VR8).

I spoke with Spectron yesterday and they are going to try and have a Musician III available to Albert also.  If not, he already has the Musician II.

That should be a pretty good listen: Von Schweikert, Spectron and Acoustic Zen :o

Just received another "update" and it looks like another amp will be used.  Probably because of a "production delay" for the Musician III.

See below for details:

McCormack amps (esp DNA 500, 225) are reported by some really picky audiophiles as one of few finest solid state amps on the planet.

I've only heard the earlier McCormack amps (DNA 1 deluxe, etc) which were good but not "tops."  I'm actually more excited to hear the McCormack amps than Spectron III.  But this is because I used to own the original Spectron Musician and my curiosity factor is not as high...

I also wonder which CDP Dave Clarke is bringing.  Should be a fun meeting, and maybe I'll win something for once.
