I was impressed with the writing and acting in this picture focusing on Vincent Van Gogh. Willem DaFoe does a amazing job capturing his looks and mental state. I have a degree in fine and applied arts and have been intrigued by this man for many years. It might be best viewed by people familiar with him. This is a dark and emotionally charged film. Recommended.
