I had an invite to this from Audio Ark but won't be able to go because I'm out of town working.  Too bad because it would have been a good opportunity to meet some folks.  Have fun and let us know how it goes.

Hi guys, just got back from edmonton.
Metting James Tanner was more than I'd expected,a true professional, down to earth real people,EGO FREE.
James has such a great attitude as he reminded me of when I was in Vancouver BC,
25yrs. ago.I was hauling my road cases out of my van into the Austin hotel.
As I had to move them by myself, this guy,who was dressed up in a nice suit came up to me and said, here let me give you a hand as I know what it's like moving gear by yourself. He introduced himself as the keyboard player in the Dorsey band and they were doing a concert at the Commodore ballroom on Granville St.
.Anyway, the thing is this world class musician had no ego, just a real nice guy.
who was willing to help out another musician(who was playing in a low class bar)
James projects that same quality :thumb:.There are a lot of pro people and non pro,who when they let their ego take over, really turn people off as the think they know it all and that they are IT.
I'm glad I got to meet James as it took me back to that moment and that I picked up some very valuable info on audio(active x-overs,computer audio, cables, ect).
I hope I can remember all what we discussed.
I have to say James, your the real deal, besides,I got my coffee he promised,
WAIT A MINUTE,WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT LAP DANCE :o,I knew there was something else .truly a pleasure JAmes.
