The Ear+ Basic headphone amp is now called the Ear+ Purist and is available with the Alps control and Black Gate capacitor upgrades. The upgrade prices have been reduced as of June 1. The Purist offers identical performance to the regular Ear+ except without a balance control (has 4 to 5 dB more gain as a result), line preamp outputs, and wood side panels. It is available in kit or assembled form.
