Its been a while since Ive dabbled in this side of the hobby, but I happened to find my little AudioEngine DAC/USB headamp that I bought over a decade ago. Thought it was lost or stolen, so I was happy to find what is one of my favorite purchases ever. Anyway, I saw a really cool little streamer on Amazon for like $79. I was skeptical of it, but not only does it work great, but it has an app I like better than the BlueOS app (so far) and it has Tidal Connect enabled. So just like that old 80s Reese's Peanut Butter Cups commercial where some dude accidentally drops his chocolate into some lady's peanut butter, I "dropped" a toslink cable from the WEEM into AudioEngine. I updated the firmware, plugged in some Grados, and I gotta say, this is a really simple and fun mini-system that sounds great!
