Help with Bryston SP3. HDMI not working
« on: 12 Mar 2017, 01:28 pm »
Hi,

I just received a Bryston SP3 unit.  I can not get HDMI to work.  I have a cable box, PS3, and apple TV connected to HDMI inputs (Input #1,2,3) and have HDMI output to TV.  I can not get ANY HDMI to work.  The HDMI light is "red" (if that matters) and the status screen says "HDMI NO" with no input and output values.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks

Phil A

I'll let Bryston answer the question but you may want to look at this for future reference regarding your cable box - http://www.avsforum.com/forum/90-receivers-amps-processors/1362662-interesting-theory-hdmi-board-failures.html

User error!  I'm the fool!

I had my 3 HDMI cables plugged into the leftmost 3 HDMI slots thinking they were HDMI 1, 2, & 3.  But those were #8,7,6 !!!

It works perfectly now!
