Hey guitar players, what's the best website to use to sell used equipment? I have an early 70s Guild F-40 acoustic that I'd like to move. Is there an A-gon equivalent in the guitar world?

Closest equivalent to the 'gon I know of is the marketplace at Harmony-central.com  http://www.harmonycentral.com/community/classifieds/for-sale-wanted
I've not used them myself in a while, but I have bought guitars there hassle free. Otherwise, it's good old Fleabay. Crazy though some lurking there may be, I've gotten very good prices selling guitars there.

When my Mom had a fairly valuable violin and bow she wanted to sell, I consigned them to Elderly Instruments. They handled everything very professionally and Mom got a good price for them. Their consignment fees are fair IMO and you're off the hook for the hassles of advertising and dealing with sellers yourself.

is a great site with knowledgable members, you'll see all kinds of guitars for sell there... martins, taylors, breedloves, numerous custom builds, and yes Guild too. I've sold and bought a few there, mostly very trustworthy people. I might be posting my guitar on there soon, good luck!
