Hello!
I have been meaning to do this for some time now! I have some older rev stuff that's been here on the shelf and I should find a home for it. It's a good chance to play with the stuff at a lower cost than the new versions and since folks were really happy with the older revs too it should work out well. Here is what I have:
- 1 Pair of TX103 MC stepups - 1:10 / 1:5 version - $275.00. These are the same winding and core as the present TX103 but do not offer the 1:20 stepup mode. Most TX103's out there are this rev and they sound exactly like the 1:20 version that sells for $400.00 a pair right now. They were broken in for you by a fellow who ended up needing the higher gain version (ie. they are slightly used!)
- 1 pair of TX102 MKI transformers. One of these was installed to a switch and so the leads are trimmed back and the other was never used. Although I prefer the MK II version there are lots of happy MK I guys out there! All the origional hoopla about the TX102 on the audioasylum was about this rev. Currently $350.00 a pair for the MK II and these are priced at $150.00 a pair
- 2 pairs of TX102 MK I transformers. Just like those above but these have full length leads. $175.00 a pair.
- 2 pairs of TX1022 transformers. These are the new winding geometry (just like the MK II) but they do not offer the +6db gain option. There are about 10 pairs like this in the field and they'll work out fine if you don't need the +6db gain (which is seldom needed). $225.00 a pair.
I think these are fair prices (plucked from my head as I'm typing this) but make an offer if you want to. Also I'll offer 10% off any other stuff (connectors, switches, kits, etc) if you are taking one of the trannies.
Post any questions about them.
Many Thanks!
